We shouldn’t try to fail, but when we do, we should learn from our mistakes, get up, and keep going. Unfortunately, a lot of people aren’t okay with failing, so they either don’t try at all, or they fail once and go back to what they were comfortably doing before.
Today’s guest on the podcast, Zack Finley, saw early success. With youth and money comes carelessness. From Business owner to employee, to back on top.
Father, husband, and businessman, Zack brings the family element into his business. His employees are his teammates. HIs company is one big happy family and that’s exactly how he wants it and feels its part of Finley Home Services’s Secret Sauce.
Passionate about giving back to his community, Zack is heavily involved with PCAR and is the current Affiliate Director. Placer County Association of Realtors and the PCAR Foundation aggregates donations and raised funds to local charities.
Zack is an active and outdoorsy type of guy competing in marathon and iron man races.
Zack is a twin. He and his brother, and at-one-time partner, are highly competitive with each other. Zack’s admits that his bother is his biggest competitor in business!

Zack Finley is the owner of a local termite, pest control and home inspection company called Finley Home Services. Zack has a Bachelors degree from San Diego State, is a licensed general contractor and a branch 2 and 3 operator thru the structural pest control board. He has been in the pest control business for 20 years now and is a leader in the industry.
Zack’s biggest success in his business and personal life has been his failures. He was bankrupt in 2009 and lost his first business venture in 2010. He knows what it takes to overcome adversity and obstacles. He has put his head down and worked not only hard but smart in order to become successful.
Zack enjoys adventure and competition. He competes in triathlons and last year competed in his first ironman. Zack enjoys backpacking, climbing, jeeping, bike riding, dirt bikes, etc. pretty much anything that can get him outdoors he is all in.
